Today I am grateful for hurricane Hermine, providing me with a 4 day weekend. As a sacrifice I will give hopefully only a few more hours of no power and some tree limbs

What the hurricane shows me is another example of a power greater than me!! This higher power who I choose to call God has done for me what I could not do for myself… And of course I couldn’t wish rain like that to water my yard… Pretty powerful if you stop and think about it!! Day 6,900 today ODAAT…. life is life ans sometimes it is wonderful. Sober and grateful.
I am grateful and honored that tomorrow with the grace of God, my wife and I will have been married 28 years!
Through tough times and good times we are still going.
I also am grateful she didn’t know me before I got sober!
