I’m having trouble asking for a sponsor. Any feedback would be great.
Steven sometimes finding a sponsor is about finding a good friend first. I was very shy but once I became more social I was able to open myself and take the plunge and ask someone.
Steven just go to meetings and listen to the men that share.. If someone has your story or even part of your story talk to him after the meeting. Remember that a sponsor needs a sponsee just as much as you need him!! We have to give back what was so freely given to us !! Pray about it also.. I know when I heard that I thought at first it was weird but it works.. I take suggestions and it keeps me sober.. One day at a time .. Get someone with some time too is my suggestion !! And remember there’s no right or wrong really in AA we are just drunks helping other drunks!! Good luck!
Forgot to say 5 years and 1 month on the 9th still take it one day !!!!!!!

The people in meetings that you learn to know a trust. They leave and don’t come back. My close group of people is always there. But where do the ones go that came to some meetings, and disappeared??
